Scientific Lasers

InnoLas products are based around flashlamp pumped solid-state laser technology. Common laser materials include Nd:YAG; Nd:Glass; and Ruby, but other crystals may be used for special applications. Our considerable expertise in these technologies enables the production of special customised systems and allows InnoLas to offer solutions for challenging applications. Our modular design approach enables highly specialised solutions to be quickly and reliably developed using well-proven sub-assemblies and rigid, thermally stable structures.
  • Nd:YAG - lasers are offered with wavelengths from the fundamental at 1064nm down to fifth harmonic at 213nm. Pulse durations can be as short as 100pS and standard lasers are available with pulse energies up to 2J per pulse, and higher pulse energies are possible. Applications include laser spectroscopy; particle image velocimetry; LIDAR; Thomson scattering; laser induced fluorescence and many others.

  • Ruby - Innolas are a major supplier of pulsed ruby lasers for holography and Thomson scattering, offering standard products with pulse energies up to 10 joules single-pulse and 5.5 joules double-pulse with repetition rates available up to 1Hz.

  • Nd:Glass - Nd:Glass lasers or amplifiers are frequently used in research applications requiring very high pulse energy and are typically custom-designed for the purpose.
